SSLC Performance & Improvement Measures
BEO Thipeswamy C.M. emphasized that in 2023, the Chitradurga district topped the state with a pass percentage of 96.8%. However, in 2024, the district dropped to the 21st position. In response, the DDPI has directed all BEOs to implement innovative programs to enhance student performance.
The following initiatives have been launched to improve SSLC results:
- Special morning and after-school classes for academically weak students.
- 40 model question papers designed by experts to help students secure passing marks.
- Home visits by teachers to ensure parental involvement in their children’s education.
- Dedicated focus on slow learners in all schools.
- One-on-one phone calls with students to help them overcome exam anxiety.
- Overnight study sessions at schools where teachers provide extra coaching for weaker students.
- Comprehensive action plans to significantly improve pass percentages.
Preparing for SSLC Board Exam
SSLC exams are not just stressful for students but also for parents, teachers, and education officials. While teachers strive for 100% pass rates, education authorities aim to restore Chitradurga district’s top ranking. With final exams scheduled from March 21 to April 4, 2025, students are expected to feel more confident due to structured preparation from the start of the academic year.
With these extensive initiatives, Hiriyur Taluk and Chitradurga District are committed to ensuring outstanding SSLC results in 2025.
