Jaipur, Sept 5: The Indian School Olympiad (ISO) 2025-26 was launched on Teacher’s Day at the Multiverse Prarambh Auditorium in Jaipur.
The programme was inaugurated by educationist Manish Chandra Sharma in the presence of academicians, students, and members of the community.
The Olympiad has been initiated by the Multiverse Charitable Trust, a non-governmental organisation working in the field of education. The Trust is headed by its president Sanjay Singh, who underlined that the competition aims to provide a national platform for students to showcase their academic abilities.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Sharma emphasized that Olympiads play a vital role in sharpening problem-solving skills and promoting logical and analytical thinking among school students. He added that such platforms help identify and nurture talent from an early stage.
The Olympiad will be open to students from classes 8 to 12, covering subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and General Knowledge. Competitions will be held in the Jaipur northeast Region. Winners will receive cash prizes, medals, certificates, and scholarships.
The event concluded with an assurance from the organisers that the Indian School Olympiad would be conducted annually to encourage healthy academic competition and promote excellence in education across the country.
