EasyKiya Brings Puja Flowers and Essentials to Doorsteps

EasyKiya Is Bringing Everyday Puja Shopping Closer to the Digital Age

For many Indian families, the morning begins with a small ritual. A diya is lit, a prayer is offered, and fresh flowers are placed before the deity. It is simple, familiar and deeply personal. But buying those flowers every morning can become one more task in a busy day.

EasyKiya started by looking at this very ordinary problem.

The platform offers fresh puja flowers starting from around ₹20 per day, with subscription options for 7, 15 and 30 days. The idea is simple: instead of remembering to buy flowers every morning, a household can plan its requirement in advance and receive fresh flowers on schedule, with delivery planned around the morning puja.

The company is approaching flowers differently from a typical flower-gifting business. These are not occasional bouquets. They are everyday essentials for worship.

But flowers are only the starting point.

EasyKiya is building a wider spiritual commerce platform that brings together fresh flowers, garlands, puja samagri kits, festival requirements, pandit booking, bulk flowers and same-day delivery of puja essentials in serviceable areas.

There is also a problem that begins after the delivery.

Once a puja is completed, the flowers become Nirmalya. In many homes, there is no convenient collection system, so the used flowers may simply be thrown away. EasyKiya is working towards a next-day Nirmalya pickup service for subscribers, with doorstep collection designed to make the process more organised and respectful.

The company is also looking at packaging. Its vision includes delivering fresh puja flowers in cotton bags rather than relying on conventional plastic packaging.

Then comes the larger question of India’s cultural diversity. A Maharashtrian puja is not necessarily the same as a Bengali, Gujarati, North Indian or South Indian puja. EasyKiya wants to organise products around those differences through community-wise and occasion-wise puja kits.

The result is a business that is trying to solve a complete household routine rather than just deliver a product.

The larger idea is straightforward: use technology to make spiritual and cultural requirements easier to access without making the traditions themselves feel impersonal.

EasyKiya describes this approach through three words: Seva, Shraddha and Samman — service, devotion and respect.

Achievement & Startup Journey

EasyKiya’s journey has also been marked by opportunities to present the startup before recognised entrepreneurship and innovation platforms. From startup pitch events to the wider journey towards a TV funding reality-show opportunity, the brand has continued to put its idea in front of mentors, investors and entrepreneurial communities.

Among the milestones is its selection among the Top 48 startups from thousands of applications for a funding reality-show journey, with EasyKiya featured in the Future in Screen Episode 6 journey. The startup has also received an achievement certificate from Ideabaaz Startup at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi, and earned the First Runner-Up award at K J Somaiya College, Vidya Vihar, Mumbai.

The journey has included exposure and participation connected with leading academic and innovation ecosystems, including IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Allahabad, IIT Kanpur, MNNIT Prayagraj and K J Somaiya College. EasyKiya has also been part of a podcast conversation with Bashesh Gala, a business mentor and investor, adding another opportunity to discuss the company’s business model, challenges and vision.

For a young company, these milestones are more than certificates and stages. They represent conversations, feedback, introductions and opportunities to keep improving the idea.
