Deshpande Landmark Private Limited was conferred with the prestigious Lokmat ‘Landmark Award 2026’ in recognition of its outstanding contribution to premium and luxury residential projects.
At a ceremony held at The Westin, Pune, Yogesh Ambadas Deshpande received the award from former Indian cricketer and renowned cricket commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu.
The company was recognised for its work in premium and luxury housing projects within the ₹1 crore to ₹3 crore price segment. Based on the theme ‘Legacy, Leadership and Landmarks’, the awards ceremony was organised by the Lokmat Group in association with the Bank of Maharashtra.
Earlier, Deshpande Landmark’s trusted work in the construction and redevelopment sector was also recognised through ‘Sakal Mahabrands 2023’.
From a Middle-Class Background to Entrepreneurship
Yogesh Deshpande, who comes from an ordinary middle-class family in Pune, entered the construction sector without an inherited business legacy. Through integrity, perseverance and a strong commitment to human values, he built an independent identity in the industry.
After completing a bungalow project as a contractor in 2009, he developed his first residential project in Chakan around 2010. As the business expanded, it was given the distinct brand identity ‘Deshpande Landmark’ in 2018.
