Uushma H. Udeashi: A Journey from Educational Excellence to Spiritual Art Mastery
Uushma H. Udeashi, born on April 8, 1973, in Mumbai, has charted an extraordinary path in education and meditative art. Her career, which spans over three decades, reflects a profound dedication to education, leadership, and personal growth.
Uushma’s academic journey began with a Diploma in Pre-Primary Teacher’s Training from the National Academy of Women, Mumbai, in 1993. This was the foundation of her long-standing commitment to education. Over the years, she furthered her qualifications with a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.ED) from the National Institute of Open Schooling in 2019, an MA in Sociology from SNDT, Mumbai, in 2016, and a BA from Shridhar University in 2013. She also earned a diploma in Library Science from the All India Education Society, Calcutta, and completed her HSC and SSC from Gwalior University. These diverse qualifications highlight her relentless pursuit of knowledge and professional excellence.
In her professional life, Uushma has held several influential roles. She served as the Head of Department at the Women’s Education Training Center in Valsad from 2019 to 2020, where she played a pivotal role in advancing women’s education. Her tenure as Principal of VSKM School in Valsad further demonstrated her leadership in shaping educational environments. Additionally, she has worked as a supervisor and arts teacher in various institutions across Mumbai and Gujarat, showcasing her versatility and commitment to education and the arts.
At the age of 51, Uushma made a significant career shift, embracing meditative and spiritual art. This transition marked a new chapter in her life, where she now specializes in using art to enhance brain power, memory, concentration, and mental well-being. As a pioneer in this niche field, she has trained over 1,000 students and professionals, and conducts workshops for diverse audiences, including corporate sales teams.
Uushma also continues to run a Women’s Skill Development Education Training Centre, furthering her mission to empower women through education and skill-building. Her journey from educational leadership to mastery in spiritual art is a testament to her adaptability, innovation, and enduring impact on those she serves.
